Mr. Muraoka’s Custom Studded Leather Jacket Is Complete | A Perfect Fit and a Happy Customer

村岡様からオーダーいただいていた、カスタムスタッズライダースが完成しました。完成後にご来店いただき、実際に着ていただくとサイズはピッタリ。仕上がりにも大変喜んでいただきました！

Mr. Muraoka’s custom studded leather jacket is now complete. He visited our shop to try it on, and the fit was perfect. He was delighted with the finished piece!

今回の一着は、B’zの稲葉浩志さんが「FYOP」のポスターで着用されたObeliskのスタッズライダースをもとに、村岡様の体型に合わせて製作したものです。

Based on the Obelisk studded leather jacket worn by Koshi Inaba of B’z in the “FYOP” poster, this jacket was made to fit Mr. Muraoka’s individual measurements.

Trying On the Finished Jacket

完成のご案内をした後、村岡様にご来店いただきました。採寸や仮縫いを経て仕立てた、ご自身のためのライダース。いよいよ、完成した一着に袖を通していただきます。

After we let him know that his jacket was ready, Mr. Muraoka visited our shop. Following the measurements and toile fitting, it was finally time for him to put on the finished jacket made especially for him.

着ていただくと、サイズはピッタリ！村岡様にとてもよくお似合いで、レザーとスタッズの存在感も、ご本人が着ることでいっそう引き立ちました。

The fit was perfect! The jacket looked fantastic on Mr. Muraoka, and the character of the leather and studs stood out even more with him wearing it.

採寸と専用パターンから生まれるフィット

A Fit Developed through Measurements and a Custom Pattern

製作は、店頭の既製品をご試着いただくところから始まりました。全体のサイズ感やシルエットを確認し、採寸した寸法をもとに、村岡様専用のパターンを作成しました。

The process began with a fitting of a ready-made jacket at our shop. After checking the overall fit and silhouette, we took his measurements and created a custom pattern specifically for him.

さらに、布で製作したトワルをご試着いただき、肩まわりや身幅、着丈、袖丈などを確認。立体でバランスを整えてから、本番のレザー製作へ進みました。

He then tried on a fabric toile so we could check the shoulders, body width, body length, and sleeves. We refined the proportions on the three-dimensional sample before moving on to the leather.

レザーの裁断、縫製、手作業のスタッズ打ち

Leather Cutting, Sewing, and Hand-Set Studs

調整したパターンに合わせてレザーを裁断し、各パーツを丁寧に縫製。平面の革を、一着のライダースへと組み立てていきました。

Using the adjusted pattern, we cut the leather and carefully sewed the panels together, transforming the flat pieces into a leather jacket.

このデザインを印象づけるスタッズも、配置や間隔、全体のバランスを確認しながら、一つひとつ手作業で取り付けています。工程を重ねることで、Obeliskらしい存在感のある一着に仕上がりました。

Each stud was set by hand, with close attention to placement, spacing, and overall balance. Together, these carefully completed stages gave the finished jacket its distinctive Obelisk character.
